Allan Siegel – W

I picked the letter ‘W’ because it is the first letter in the English word WAR. It is an ominous letter in this respect because of all that wars can be or were. I am joining the letter with the very common imagery that is now associated with war – on television, in the cinema, magazines, etc… guns are treated like toys, police and soldiers with costumes and weapons from a science fiction movie. I would like to negate this imagery for it makes it seem like war is acceptable, a game. It is not!
