Ulrich Ahrend – Y

I have created a model in the scale of 1:20. The normal sized ‘Y’ will be 200cm in hight, therefore the model is 40cm. I came to the conclusion to build the normal sized letter different to the model. As seen on picture 1 the vertical of the letter has two different wide halves. For a simpler construction and a more harmonious appearance of the letter, the normal sized letter will have two equal sides. On picture 2 the wood is partially cut and both halves are already glued. On picture 3/4 you can see the coloured model on a stone wall.
